Mandelic Acid 苦杏仁酸：
苦杏仁酸是目前唯一的親脂性果酸，與皮膚的親和力高，容易滲透角質層並深入皮膚發揮作用，不僅針對油性膚質和青春痘膚質能達到抗菌、改善阻塞等良好效果，對於日光性老化、尤其是黑色素沉著亦有明顯之療效。此外，其抗菌效果在國外亦被應用於美容雷射術後，以預防革蘭氏陰性菌產生與色素沉澱等併發症。
根據醫學文獻中的實驗結果，以苦杏仁酸作為換膚材料可以有效解決青春痘的困擾，尤其是伴隨產生的發炎性膿疱、丘疹等症狀，通常在使用苦杏仁酸後都有明顯的改善。同時，對於鬆弛、皺紋、日光性老化等皮膚問題，苦杏仁酸亦有不錯的效果。
值得注意的是，苦杏仁酸在面對一些黑色素問題，包括膚色不均、暗沉、黑斑、雀斑、發炎後色素沉澱等等，均有明顯的療效，這是其他果酸所無法達到的效果。針對真皮層黑色素沉積的問題，即使是使用A酸、弱效性類固醇、以及對苯二酚等美白藥物來治療，也常遇到瓶頸或失敗，甚至在藥物治療時產生發炎後色素沉澱，這種狀況尤其容易發生於膚色較深者。一般說來，真皮層的黑色素沉積治療反應較慢，臨床研究也發現，有患者持續使用苦杏仁酸產品長達六個月後，甚至可得到色斑完全去除的結果，其淡化黑色素的效果可見一斑。附帶說明一點，上述因藥物治療而產生發炎後色素沉澱的患者，在使用苦杏仁酸之後，並不會造成任何色素過度產生的問題。
